Pricing is as follows:
Most
jobs I do by the hour, and the hourly output can vary dramatically,
depending on the size and quality of the logs, the dimensions
of the lumber you want, site layout and other factors. You can
save yourself money by cutting your logs to length (under 21'),
cleaning and stacking them well, providing a good, level, easily
accessible site, and by providing help for moving logs and stacking
lumber.
In
Wahkiakum County, Washington: $50/hour
Elsewhere
in western Washington or NW Oregon: $65/hour
If
you have a nice, large deck of quality softwood logs, I will consider board foot pricing. This starts at $225/thousand.
